Like I said elsewhere, the likelihood (if concealed) of being investigated by LEO is infinitesimally low. If you’re asked to leave on general principles though, you gotta leave.

Yep. I'd confidently carry past any lame 30.06 sign with no exclusion and no worries at all, except that I make a habit of abiding by the law of the land. With the exclusion, I still have no worries.

You can have your attorney raise it as a Defense to Prosecution at your municipal or JP court trial on your $200 ticket, IF you got noticed, AND a cop got there in time to cite you, AND still cited you when you mentioned your Defense of being a Volunteer Emergency Responder, AND the city or county precinct attorney didn't dismiss it when you told them your defense and threatened to ask for a jury trial on a class C, no jail ticket.

Some time long before it comes to that, I'd expect the property owner or their representative to invoke the "get out of here because I just don't like your face" reason for trespass. After which point you'd need to promptly leave or deal with a 30.05 charge with no legislated defense.

We went to our usual First Watch yesterday and the signs have been changed. I wanted to take a pic but cell in my truck. It basically said stay the hell out if have a firearm. They never went that far before. Today we went to another of our regular restaurants and it had 2 big signs by the front door that weren't there before, and in English and Spanish. They said the same thing, as I interpreted correctly, stay the hell out if you're carrying a firearm. CC has caused this, prolly from lawyers across the state. At least with LTC there was some unspoken assurance of safety. I will not however find other places to eat when we enjoy these so much.

No it hasn’t. Liberal education caused it, this just provided a lame excuse. They didn’t even give it a trial period.

I do not understand. Was it a legal 06 sign? If not, why should we care? And even if they put up a lawfully required 06 sign, many LTC holders still don't care.

No, I can most certainly do business with an anti-gunner and not be anti-gun myself. I can be a Christian and trade with an atheist, or a Hindu, and in fact I am supposed to be around such people per the great commission. By all means don’t donate to them unless they are in need, but if you are paying a fair price for a good product just go about your business.

You can’t be a pro-firearm evangelist without being around people who need evangelizing…

That is not exactly a valid debate issue.

The Luby's Massacre happened in 1991. The first concealed carry laws didn't go into effect until 1996. A full five years after the event at Luby's.

Kind of a moot point since it wasn't legal to carry on your person in 1991.
