Fully remote since it all started, we were supposed to return in August but my boss got the china flu. No word on when we'll return now, we will have the option of only working three days out of the week when or if we return. I just don't see why we need to be there at all.
Ahh gotcha I was remote before this bs started so I am immune to the return to office mess. Most of my co workers enjoy being remote now but have indicated they will return to the office whenever that happens

I fill a critical role at my job and I am a full remote employee. I already told my manager if it becomes mandatory I am gone. The contracting world is full of remote opportunities that dont require this bullshit and I wouldn’t be upset about the giant pay increase either

I am waiting to see if our CEO goes back on his current route which is only strongly encouraging the vaccine. Our attrition rate this year for employee retention is awful so that is probably helping. I see absolutely zero reason I should get it. I interact with my co workers through a screen and a phone
We are essential employees as well, we were the first to work from home. We haven't lost anyone so far, there is rebellion brewing though about returning to the office, I'm sure you can tell by my earlier posts. I don't look forward to going back to hour plus drives in traffic back to Dallas just to sit at my desk doing the same thing I can do from my living room.

I hear you. I live way out in the country and the only thing that gets my ass up to go down there is Japanese curry and Scheels lol My days of commuting to and from dallas are long gone. The remote world is awesome

WASHINGTON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden will require all federal employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and the U.S. Department of Labor will issue a rule requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to have their workers vaccinated or tested weekly, officials said on Thursday.

Just saw that. Pretty sure DoL is about to get sued by a lot of companies.

“Our overarching objective here is to reduce the number of unvaccinated Americans”
The WH has clearly stated this

    This isn’t about stopping covid.
Otherwise natural immunity would be addressed.

bidet just announced he's going to force ALL Americans to get the jab. (ah, except postal workers)

    Ain't gonna happen.

Wouldn't the post office fall under the 100+ employee mandate if federal worker doesn't apply?

Got the memo Thursday. My department has a December 31st deadline for vaccination, as a condition of employment. There are several “incentive” dates, for example, if 85% of our department is vaccinated by the end of September, we get a bonus, and if we hit 95% by the end of October, it doubles. I have no idea where are department is at right now, and I don’t care. I am getting my resume together, and will start sending it out next week. I will be losing my pension, and I will have to find health insurance for 2 of my kids. My main worry is, this is not unique to my company. I may find out, no matter where I go, the mandate will be an issue. Guess I have a couple months to figure it out. Really sux!

Ride it out until Dec. If you are close to retirement don't give up your pension,
and let the company keep what you have invested.

Any other company will have the same requirement, IF the chinavirus doesn't change by then.

They're requiring people *who work remotely* to get the shot? That's beyond fucked up. That's like Rutgers booting that student who only attended online classes because he didn't get his shots. Even if you go down the rabbit hole of allowing them to mandate medical procedures for those who work in an office or at company or client facilities, if you're working from home you don't even need to get dressed to work, why the hell would you need to get a shot if you don't even go to the office?
Don't you get it? The unvaccinated are a danger to computers now. Many computer viruses can now be traced back to the unvaccinated.

Sorry, had a Babylon Bee moment.
