The Garden Spider is really cool in the fact that if you get too close they start bouncing their web back and forth (undulating) as a threat to get away. I have a couple of friends that are city folk and while at my place she saw one like the one in the picture so she decided to get close to take a picture with her phone and it started undulating and she wet herself and left in a huff. About two years later while at our farm again, she wanted to walk through the trees down to the stock tank. She walked into a Crab Spider also know as an Orb Weaber, web which plastered the web and spider to her face. She did thirty minutes of cardio in about 5 seconds then ran screaming back to the house. She did not pee herself this time. It took several shots of Jose Cuervo to calm her down.
Here is what a spiny version looks like. They are 100% harmless to humans.

This is from my wedding. His mom thought we were to casual and that we needed a wedding party. My mom thought I was getting to fat for my dress... We both had fun because we could be ourselves, which is what I think you should be on your wedding day. View attachment 280522

Yup. You were dressed fancier than my wife. And I didn't wear a vest. Had on a new hat though and a western sport coat and new jean. That's fancy for me.

This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. It is of the old sailboat used for the sunset cruise when we were in Cozumel. They go from resort to resort picking up people. Music and drinks. Fantastic fun. I had to run down the beach several times to get the shot of the sun going down between the masts.

Finally went to the doctor today after 2 weeks of having a annoying cough. I was afraid it was the Fauci Flu but it's a mild case of Walking Pneumonia. Doc prescribed a week of antibiotics so hopefully this gets rid of it.

Thanks guys. But last night just wasn't a good night for me to be posting. My allergies went into over-drive, my acid-reflux was raging, and I hate going to funerals. I read a few threads I was subscribed to, and reading some replies, and fighting the urge to be totally sarcastic and just downright being a smart-ass, I knew I needed to step away from the computer!

On allergies.

There is a fallow field down the road (WEST) of me...about? 3/4 mile x 1/2 mile in size.

You would never guess what it is growing a bumper crop of...(for the last several years)...??
