My statement still stands. Most avoid them. I’ve seen it in many places in my internet travels.

That’s why you’ll see people who don’t normally participate in the big threads create a new one on a topic being discussed.

Just remember that “majority rule” is not always the best way to decide something.

Just because I put up a poll doesn't mean I'm going to pay any attention to the result. What's educating me are the different viewpoints.

At this point, the two poll options are off the table. There's been support for keeping the meme thread separate and I can see the logic in that. So that means I've already decided that neither of the two options, as worded, will be enacted.

I am, however, immensely enjoying and profiting from the way each of you arrives at and defends your position. There's a whole bushel of smart stuff in this thread.
