Damn, I just bought a Chinesium sight for my PDP. Might hafta upgrade, depending on price, availability and durability. I bet Aaron Cowen gets his hands on one in the next couple months to test.

This is in line with AUGs or Tavors.$2k for that thing? I'd much rather drop $700-900 on a Keltec RDB and be done with it. But I do like the new EoTech pistol optic.
An SGA type stock would be kinda neat, but i don't see them doing thatWith the popularity in tacticool leveractions I was expecting Magpul to drop some stocks for the Marlins and Henry's.

Probably because despite the differences, the SA seems to be more in line with the original.Lol
why buy a Springfield
shot across the bow with a big FU added
I was referring to the view from FN. I am surprised they did not also announce a 1911 to send a message.Probably because despite the differences, the SA seems to be more in line with the original.
Plus FN will rape you on price and discontinue the gun after a few years leaving you SOL if a part breaks

Im pretty convinced FN doesn't know how to sell handguns in the US market. This is pretty cool, and I"m glad to see a new gun using an existing magazine pattern, instead of yet another proprietary mag, even if Caracal mags aren't wide spread. Upshot for Caracal owners - mags will probably suddenly be more plentiful! I like the lines, it looks like a blend of a Glock and a Steyr.
I wonder if FN got shamed into re-introducing the Hi Power because of Springfield, and the couple of Eurotrash copies that were released / updated? Either way - even though I'm not in the market for a new pistol this very moment, this fills my heart with a little joy seeing an FN made Hi Power in new production again. The ambi controls are a nice touch, those VZ style grips look awesome, and it *looks* like this is a 4 or 4.25 inch version maybe? Like FM's "Detective" slides. I dig it!
Any mention were they will be produced? The last ones were what Portugal?Lol
