Another bad scene this time in Texas. My heart goes out to the families who lost a child or teacher today. May they all rest in peace.

I was listening to the news including installing man traps in school that would capture someone entering the school and capture him. There are a lot of people who don't want active police in their schools, but the best idea is to hire some of us old folks retired police and ex-military to secure the bldgs. I think this has merit because a lot of these folks are living day to day on a fixed income and would just love being utilized for such a worthy cause.

God bless the children and their families, and the teachers who were killed before their time.

not meant to offend... gunrack in the unlocked pickup it's the way I grew up. no school the first day of hunting season because that's where all the teachers were, and the kids never shot each other. don't recall any stolen guns. everyone had their own and knew it. sorry, hard day.

This is heartbreaking and glad the POS is dead. I know this is minute, but does it seem strange to anyone else that an 18 y/o kid from Uvalde that apparently couldn't graduate HS and just bought his first gun went with a $2k DD rifle as being shown on the news? I know when I was 18, that was a huge amount of money to me, hell, I'm old and I still only have PSA's.
