That's why I liked Kauai and Maui better. Although Maui has small areas that is touristy the two sides of the island are so different from each other (one side desert the other side thick jungle), and you can find beaches where you may not see another human being. I didn't explore the beaches of Kauai, only spent half the day, but it's just gorgeous!

I have never been to Hawaii, but for some reason I just envision it as a tourist trap place. I have seen more than a few pictures of Hawaii, and it has some most beautiful scenery, bar none, but given it's location and limited means of travel options and the expense, it's just not at the top of my bucket list of places to visit.

I've had oh so many bone spurs erupting from my lower left jaw cheese grating the bottom of my tongue since mid Dec. At times, it's not just painful to eat mashed 'taters or a salad w/o croutons but even to simply talk.

Glad to see yesterday that Brandon dropped the Covid testing requirement for coming home.
