Got tired of waiting on the back ordered barrel for my SHTF carbine project so I canceled it and ordered another one from Primary Arms. Placed the order Friday and it showed up today, now that's service!
FN cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel, BCM gas block and SLR dimpling jig. Going full steam on the build, hope to be shooting it in about a week. Going to try camo Cerakote on this one so might take me a bit longer to complete.
I know a guy, that knows a guy in the hill country that would buy that revolver from you.Two large bags of cleaning patches, a 7.62x39 drum mag, 6 boxes of 50 rds. ea. of Armscor 22 TCM (for only $6.00 each, they sell for around $40 to $50 each or more and yes this neckbeard bidder bought them to resell or to trade for something I’d like or need)), four gun books: "Field & Stream -The Total Gun Manual", "All About Cowboy Action Shooting," "Gun Digest Book of the Remington 870" and "The Illustrated Book of Guns; an Arsenal 10 rd. AK magazine, two Arsenal 5 rd. AR-15 mags, three Picatinny riser mounts0 and a CAA (brand) TRM3 triple rail mounting system.
There were also two guns: the first being a Chinese SKS with black synthetic stock, bayonet, 4 mags of differing capacities, an oil can, stripper clips and a sling (the SKS was said to be in like brand new condition):

I also picked up a Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 Spl., one made by the original Charter Arms in Stratford, CT:

I took a shot in the dark with the Bulldog because I neglected to put it on the list of guns the conditions of which I had inquired about before the auction. Hope it does not bite me in the arse but it looked okay in the pics so I have hope. As for that drum mag, its description stated ‘as is’ in the description which almost always indicates something is wrong (at this company's auctions) but the young lady who answered my inquiry did not know what if anything is wrong with it. Yesterday, she said she’d get back to me but while she told me about two additional guns before the auction today, she never mentioned the drum mag and since it was the day of the auction I'm sure she was too busy and I did not pester her. I bid on it for my son who decided to take a chance that if busted he can fix it.
Not gun related but I got two other things in the same auction: a Ka-Bar 1221 knife with sheath and a Bachmann Diesel Express HO electric train set.
I also missed out on a few guns & other items on which I had bid but wound up outbid. Then there were two others in particular – alot consisting of three AR-15 flip up front sights and another lot for three rear sights for the same. I either called or texted my son at the point in the bidding for them and missed out. Gotta pay really good attention to these live online auctions because they zip right along. All in all though, a good day at the virtual auction house.
I am not contemplating selling it, more likely it will be a keeper.I know a guy, that knows a guy in the hill country that would buy that revolver from you.
Yeah. Just my attempt at humor referencing the wtb revolver thread that was getting some attention a few days ago.I am not contemplating selling it, more likely it will be a keeper.
Oh stop flaunting your wealth, lol
