..Get at me if you want to discuss in person though, I’m available.

See here, this is the problem; the value this place provides is the face to face component and the written word sorely lacks intonation and other cues found in the spoken word. I can here George’s voice in his writing because I known him. And most of us here know each other. Shoot with each other. Break bread with each other. Routinely.

In fact, twice a year we all get together near Killeen for a family reunion to do exactly that. Come out in October and join us.

And yes, there’s been some strange new additions lately. We’d probably end up being better people understanding not everyone started off knowing and believing what they know and believe today. Hell, I’m a retired .mil guy and I’m fiercely proud of that but I also know every level of .gov merely pays lip service to the Constitution pretty much because the vast majority of Americans fail to comprehend what, exactly, the ninth and tenth amendments mean.

I agree, it seems a lot of what I say is misinterpreted. Hard to understand someone when you don’t know them or their personality. I never write anything I wouldn’t say in person though.

No hard feelings on my end, some take from something that others don’t. I did reach out to him privately to clear up being it’s between me and him.

I will say, it’s a forum and not everyone has to agree with me or even like me and I’m ok with that. Someone can post something that I don’t agree with as well. Definitely goes both way’s, Everyone is different for a reason. Again I have no hard feelings, really not as serious as some take it.

People who dance to their own tune and live their lives outside of other people’s expectations are often shunned by those who cling to socially acceptable sameness. Anyone who doesn’t adhere to what society deems as “normal,” namely what everyone else is doing, can be seen as a pariah.

But can you imagine how absolutely dull and boring life would be if everyone was the same, thought the same, believed in the same viewpoints?

If you’ve been called “weird” at any point in your life, you’re probably a remarkably interesting individual, rather than a member of the “I’m going to be just like everyone else” brigade.

Comes along with in what context we see as weird, different or strange.

Are we talking about putting ketchup on your hot dog weird, or crossdressing in woman's clothes and heading out to the grocery store?

Those are both weird, different and strange! But if that does it for you, go for it.
