I do not support fringe positions that only a small percentage of the american people support (besides hating Ukraine ofc). I prefer republican stances on guns, abortion, lgbt issues, and a couple other things, but besides that, I prefer democratic stances. I view most of my agreements with republicans as cultural issues and most of my agreements with democrats as economic issues, and I think economics matters more.

You cannot have conservative views culturally and have liberal economics. They are mutually exclusive and you will someday see how the liberal economic policies quickly erode the culture.

You must decide if you want a constitutional republic or if you want a government which taxes you into slavery and then when you have no more ability to have economic freedom, they force you into accepting their liberal cultural beliefs.

Government is inherently cancerous. It it has some useful purposes, but a government with the money to carryout a liberal economic policy will have the money to twist your arm into more than you want.

You seem young and idealistic, show poor judgment like many of us did when we were young. I hope you stick around long enough to learn.

A sizeable minority of people would disagree. Ie the people of florida who voted for trump by 3 points and for a 15 dollar minimum wage by 21 points on the same night. Medi expansion also almost always either passed or heavily outruns democratic candidates every time. Biden’s approval is lower than a lot of these policies. Moderates have to push till the bitter end for unity
