It's a muddy lake. This is cray. Wife just had to wreck the only 4wd rig. Not going anywhere for another two days.
That sucks big time. We are just watching the creek climb. 4x4 will get us across and out but then the road is a mess until I grade it. So we are just watching old movies with the dogs. They like Clint Eastwood.

Yup. Wife works from home so she's in her office. I'm trying to keep busy with movies or on the laptop with tgt or typing up content or looking at camera equipment on B&H.

All the cracks in the ground are full of water. lol. At the top of our property I have about an acre fenced off for the dogs. I gotta let em out one at a time to dry em off and get the gumbo off. I just go out with my poncho and flip-flops. Makes life easy. Yesterday I got as much energy out of the dogs as I could.

I might go back to drinking coffee. I have been dragging ass in the morning. I'll have to buy another coffee maker. The wife never cleans hers and doesn't understand why I give a coffee maker a water rinse for each use.
I guess you never heard of seasoning. Of course, you do need to clean out sediment from time to time.

Wife said that if keeps raining, our house will get flooded.

My response was...wut you talking bout girl.

She said the creek will over flow and flood us.

I told her to imagine a straight line from our house to the creek
about 100 yards away from us.
Then measure straight down to the (now) top of the water
and it will measure, about, 50 feet. And the water is flowing
towards and into lake lavon, which is very low at this point.
Ain't no way we will ever get flooded.

A couple of years ago, my wife decided she was going to clean my coffee maker. It quit working!

She doesn't drink coffee and doesn't understand why coffee is so important. Because a coffee maker is cheaper than bail money!
