I will say while ruger loves shipping out some real stinkers, their CS was very nice and addressed some issues i had that were totally on me.


But the lines and size of a K frame are just...

I don't own any revolvers, but my perfect one would be the one that someone gives me as a gift for being such an upstanding member of TGT. It would have stainless finish and nice wooden grips, and al least a 4" barrel.

The Ruger "Six" series of revolvers are some of the best Ruger ever made IMO.

This pretty much says it all for me. User replaceable shrouds and barrels available in different lengths, adjustable barrel to cylinder gap, accurate, what more can one really ask for (other than possibly something lighter in weight)?

Original Colt Python, six inch barrel. It's just a classic. It's the gun that made me aware of .357 Magnum as a kid, and I've wanted one ever since.

Shoot one enough, you get use to it. It's as I understand a better way to latch the cylinder and supposedly stronger.

Yeah, but I'm so used to colts, s&w, and rugers, that any benefits are outweighed by the negatives.

Same thing keeps me from being too interested in classic sig da/sa's

I normally shoot other brands as well, but my father owns a couple of DW revolvers so I have learned to adapt.
