Seems to me the old guy had a good case to shoot if he’d have stayed on the ground after getting stomped. Getting up and running toward the attacker whiffed that play though. I too think he tried to shoot and something happened preventing that. Both are lucky guys.

Out of shape, lacks physical ability to grapple and keep his firearm from being strong armed from him, Tubby is lucky the other guy was slightly more level headed than he was or it could have been his last day on Earth.

I've seen too many times where these guys who are hot heads usually meet someone who is just as big of a moron as they are, and we all get to read about it on the news.

Supposedly, gun got taken away and taker had a round go off. According to TV news. Yup, stupid. However, one has to decide if drawing when attacked is appropriate. I could envision many situations where drawing would STOP an attack but would get you in trouble. Getting beat up by an unarmed attacker?

It seems people are overreacting to everything these days. I read just the other day that there was a fight at another "concert". The concert? Mannheim Steamroller, but to be fair, it was in Detroit.

According to the news article the man who introduced the gun into/ after the physical fight was arrested. OK, I understand that but why wasn't the younger guy charged with anything? The video showed him running some distance to the bigger guy for the hit, knocking him down. Looks like physical assault to me. If one is charged both need to be.

As soon as you pull it out, you want to gain a little distance - not lose it. Usually you want to avoid being charged and the person grab it, but this guy just took his gun right to the other guy.

Maybe the guy that was arrested also instigated the road rage incident as well. Without details of what happened prior to what details took place before the video, it's hard to determine who exactly was at fault and for what.

I haven't posted much about this. I think there was plenty to go off from the video that suggested this wasn't a cut and dry case.

Self defense CAN still be legal if two are fighting but in that moment you fight because you have to or to try and get away. When people want to keep the fight going...They are going to be arrested and if nothing else arrested for disorderly.

The old guy pulled out his handgun in a way that was out of anger. Anyone can see it. You don't take your gun out and act like some yoyo g hood dipshit.

If two people pull over to fight, then one shoots the other, is it legal.

Can't instigate something, then call it self defense, can you?
You're right but the video only shows the one guy slamming the other guy down. My opinion was based on that.
