West side ain't got a chance.
Bullshit. Got a longer range, nicer weather, no pollen and dove hunting. (sorry EZ-E - just trying to get the mojo going) I wished I'd have made it out there, but last weekend just wasn't working. You guys want modern guns, or funky old stuff? I can bring a plethora of revolvers, lever guns, etc. GP100, SP101, S&W 29, 27, 17, 65, 10? Black Powder? AR/AK frankengun, Howa Grendel - maybe the AR Grendel. Swiss K31? 700 ADL in .243? Bolt guns? .22's? I long ago realized that packing light isn't going to happen. Its a time to enjoy!

The range and immediate area are cleared of thorny and pokey things.
Shorts and sneakers/ loafers are pretty safe.
If you want to go afield for dove hunting or just feel like busting through some brush, heavy jeans and boots are recommended.

I don't live here. It's my refuge. My playground.
There's a building. A generator. Some tools and stuff.

    It's "rustic".

    GP100 please.
It's a special occasion. I'll bring the Dan Wesson 15-2 Pistol Pack.
    It's been stored too long.

Looking forward to it. I started yesterday getting stuff ready. Made @TexasRedneck’s bbq rub tonight. Will fire off the smoker Thursday. Two pork butts ought to feed 30 or more. Will make the slaw on Friday.

Gonna load the Tahoe on Friday. I’m fired up for the trip. Still trying to decide what to bring besides my shotgun. Need to put new batteries in the mojo dove.

After I "stored" Dawico's 6" for a year or so, I got the one I really wanted, 4" stainless. I just love 4" revolvers for some reason. He needs to bring that Rhino, and I need to load up a lot more .357.

If I can figure out a ride I'm gonna try and go west.

I can give you a ride out there. But I’m spending the night Saturday, then heading to Waco Sunday morning early.

You can ride to Waco if you want. Have to put up a blind at my lease then head back to DFW.

I'm bringing a couple of Mojo's and a couple of extra battery packs if you need them. I'm amazed on how long they last.

We gotta do the .357 lever guns.
I'll bring one and the mouse fart loads.
    The Mason Richards conversion too.

Bringing the Magnetospeed for sure, and an AR500 3/4 sized silhouette target - fence posts & bailing wire/chains? SGAmmo just delivered some brass cased 7.62x39 today.

    So.
We're gonna have 19th century western guns.
20th century commie guns. And 21st century wheel guns.

I bet Moonpie just shit his britches.
He's just probably just still cleaning his stuff. Sadly, no pimp daddy coming to the West - unless we buy his gas money. That guy has more firearm knowledge than anyone I've ever met. He came over to the house one time and absolutely schooled me on stuff I inherited (sort of). One of the many reasons why we should meet in person.

    He's a guru.
    And a very generous guy.
Every time I've met Moonpie, he's been overly generous. To the point of literally forcing me behind a military rifle on a damned bench. Always a recipe for a sore shoulder.
    I do appreciate the man.
But, I'll continue to deal him grief as long as I'm able.

    It's what we do.

Yep. There I was, minding my own business, in my chair in the shade sipping a bottle of water. When suddenly Moonpie appeared in front of me, practically forcing a Browning Hi-Power into my hands.

And now I have a new favorite pistol. Dammit. And that's not the only one of his collection he wouldn't let me demur from shooting. There was also the Springfield Trapdoor carbine...and the Python...

Yep, that's exactly how I wound up with a 10mm. Luckily I have managed to avoid the 38 Super so far. @Moonpie is the debil.

Ok, after pouring through 72 pages, I came up with only 2 changes from the previous attendee list. If I have missed anything in the mess, let me know.
