Texas drops fight to prevent 18- to 20-year-olds from carrying handguns in public
A federal judge ruled earlier this year that a state law banning young adults from publicly carrying handguns is unconstitutional. The state no longer plans to appeal that ruling.

Please read the above as the new information in that article is pertinent in my asking this question.
My daughter has been shooting since she was 7 and does handle pistols better than most who carry them and even still has her stupid little .22lr...
Anyway, any help to further understand and/or further information would be appreciated.
