Drop front plate and put the expiration sticker on the rear plate instead of the windshield.

Just curious, does anyone know of anyone being pulled over for no front plate? I know several guys who drive daily with no front plate.
I was pulled over by DPS for no front plate about 25 years ago on I10 around the Weimar/Columbus area. Truck in front of me kicked up a gator a few days earlier that took out the license plate, the plate mount, and part of my grille. I showed the trooper the accident report, so he gave me a warning on the missing license plate. but cited me for dark window tint instead.

I have a few times, but only in the BMW. The other cars get ignored. It only started happening after the car was about 8 years old, too. Never happened when it was new.

I've been pulled over for it in my old camaro. I had it mounted on the airdamn up under the hood. It was visible if you looked hard enough, but the trooper wasn't impressed. I took my warning and tossed in the trash and did nothing about it.

Other than some city cars out on the freeway nobody runs a front plate around here. Oklahoma and Arkansas do not issue them. I don't know about those goofy Lowsy-anna guys. Never seen one. They breakdown before they get this far into Texas.

I've bought at least two trucks that didn't have a spot for a front plate, the plate holder was an option I guess. One in Indiana and one in North Carolina. I used baling wire to hang a front plate on the GMC after a warning.
