How could an evil Senator weild so much power...... i dunno ask Brandon.<>
Ted K became the face of the political resistance to our “winning the war”.
The problems were inherited when the Allies subdued Japan and the French tried to tighten control over the Viets.
As a child & teen, sitting on our kitchen floor, I listened to Generals in USAF Intelligence Services discuss it while drinking Canadian whiskey with my Dad.
Of course, I couldn’t appreciate much of what I heard, but I do recall some. What sticks in my memory is that they considered Ted K an evil tyrant & questioned just how a single Senator from MA could have the power to cause them so much of a problem with their conduct of war tactics.
