Bob Seger gives me weird vibes but I like the music.

Turn the Page and Night Moves both kinda get me into a certain mood, if only for the duration of the song. Hard to describe - melancholy I guess is the closest.

Also, certain parts of certain songs will all of a sudden cause someone to be cutting onions nearby for some reason. Conway Twitty's "That's My Job" at a certain point in does it, and once in a while Craig Morgan's "Almost Home" does it too.

The song forces me to remember a bad decision. Love the song; hate that it reminds me how I broke my life.

Classics IV Spooky - it was playing when my girlfriend and I, back in 1968 or thereabouts,...
Atlanta Rhythm Section has a pretty good version too.

”Love's kind of crazy with a spooky little girl like you”.

Wikipedia says: "Spooky" is originally an instrumental song performed by saxophonist Mike Sharpe (Shapiro), written by Shapiro and Harry Middlebrooks Jr, which first charted in 1967 hitting No. 57 on the US pop charts.[1] Its best-known version was created by James Cobb and producer Buddy Buie for the group Classics IV when they added lyrics about a "spooky little girl". The vocalist was Dennis Yost.[2] The song is noted for its eerie whistling sound effect depicting the spooky little girl. It has become a Halloween favorite.[3] In 1968, the vocal version reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100[4] and No. 46 in the UK.[5]

Any Carl Perkins song, takes me back to seeing Johnny Cash with Perkins on guitar at the theater-in-the-round a zillion years ago in Houston. They set up a projector and screen and showed steam trains chugging for the train songs part of the show.

I saw Roy Clark and Sammy Davis Jr at that venue too. Great times.

Not the only one, but Christopher Cross Ride Like the Wind. He was in my neighborhood in Austin when I was growing up. Drove by his house frequently. I think he was a two hit wonder. Anything by St. Elmo's Fire - saw them at Armadillo World Headquarters a long time ago.
His first album sold very well. Had a number of hits. Second album had several songs that got airplay, but it was not as good as the first album. Faded away after that.

He got noticed singing the jingle for Dyer Electronics.
