Nobody forced you to subscribe to Apple TV and in all honesty, all of these streaming services are run by commie liberals anyway, so just pick your poison.I was forced to subscribe to AppleTV so I can watch "Masters of the Air" because HBO sold it to them during covid. Apple is so f'n petty. I was able to download the streaming service on my Android TV but Apple will not allow it to be downloaded to Android phones.
My hate for Apple continues and I will cancel the subscription as soon as the miniseries is over. They confirmed my conviction that I will never own another Apple device again....ever.
Masters of the Air releases this Friday.
I was under the impression that you had to buy an Apple product to get that but I will look into it. Thanks. You know you can get a free 90-day trial of AppleTV from Bestbuy? Likely too for you to take advantage of it if you haven’t already.
Well Bless Your Heart.Nobody forced you to subscribe to Apple TV and in all honesty, all of these streaming services are run by commie liberals anyway, so just pick your poison.
I just wait people to lose interest in most of these things and then pick them up in the $5 DVD bin at Walmart.
Yes, we find most of our shows on Hulu, Netflix or maybe Peacock. Paramount, Starz, Apple, etc are sometimes worth subscribing for a month or two when they offer a deal since their content just doesn't change much.Frankly, with all these services there's ten times as many shows available but even less to watch it seems. Or maybe it's just harder to find them because there's so much crap. I'm glad we don't really pay for them.
We have Paramount with the Walmart+ membership. MAX comes with our cellphone provider. We share Netflix and our daughter pays for it. I got Peacock for $10 a year on special at Christmas time. Then we have a Tablo device for OTA and it comes with a bunch of streaming channels. Plus the free ones like Tubi, Fubo, Roku, blah bla blah. It's bit ridiculous.
Peacock had a "$10 for a whole year" special at Christmas time so I said what the heck...Yes, we find most of our shows on Hulu, Netflix or maybe Peacock. Paramount, Starz, Apple, etc are sometimes worth subscribing for a month or two when they offer a deal since their content just doesn't change much.
Fubo I think. You need AT&T Sports Southwest for all the home games. It could change season to season though. What is the best way to watch the Astros without cable?
NopeGo to the game.
A some spinoffs are coming. The wife and I just finished the second season of Reacher (Amazon Prime Video). IMO, season two was better than season one.
Watched 1883 - Annoying AF. Narrator is a petulant little girl (also a bit of a slut) that won't shut up.
Watched 1923 - Massive improvement over 1883 in plot/storyline/characters but once again some of the female leads are problematic. Tired of seeing the soft core "love porn" meant for female audiences.
The wife and I finished the series up last night. It's decent but I felt they spent a long time on nothing and then raced to the end as most series do.I didn't know it had already been released, but "Lawmen: Bass Reeves" is on Paramount +. By the same guy who created Yellowstone and its far superior prequel shows. It's pretty engaging. I'm a couple of episodes in.
