Once I was at the BLADE show next to the Strider crew. They thought it would be fun to use some hammer they had on display to smash a hole in the concrete floor of the convention center. This continued throughout the show, as a "display".He sure as hell does... After I read that a while back ago, I decided I'd stick with my Chris Reeve folders and Busse Combat fixed blades. Although, Sean I suspect you know as well, or better, than I that an ex-felon probably knows how to make a killer shank.
Lynn fires over 2,000 rounds a month, and is constantly practicing to be prepared with all sorts of weapons and skills.
How many of those are at the ground before he gets to the target?
DngrRuss1 - bit of googlefu and seems you've got quite the man crush on Lynn Thompson. How often does Lynn sharpen your knife?
From the way he rabidly seeks out any posts regarding his hero, it may be that he's gettin' more than a sword sharpened.....
I know Lynn Thompson, and I can tel you that much of the bile here and negative comments are not only inaccurate, but do not reflect on the DVD in its proper context. The video in question was never meant as a "training video".
He has been in many situations with very dangerous animals well within a dangerous range to him, and it has been his skill that has proven to not only make him successful, but keep him safe. He has been around many unskilled, and sometimes inattentive members of his hunting party that have proven to be a danger to him and the rest of the party in a precarious moment, and he has been able to rise above and succeed without harming himself or members of his party- so much of the bashing on this thread is unfounded.
watch it in the context it was intended, and you will look at it in a different light.
It doesn't matter how many rounds he shoots each month. He is an unsafe ass-clown and needs to spend some time training with weight watchers...
Haha... Jakassh doing some detective work on this guy! Whoops. Have we actually found a Lynn Thompson fanboy?
He seems like a fun guy... The second video that was posted in this thread was obviously just him having fun and splattering melons all over the place. He needs to stick to just doing the fun stuff. That informational video was definitely bad PR for Cold Steel. Not everyone can or should be in front of a camera.I know Lynn Thompson, and I can tel you that much of the bile here and negative comments are not only inaccurate, but do not reflect on the DVD in its proper context.
