I disagree. Cold Steel is a premier knife making company.
If they were just a fantasy/collector knife maker, then sure no harm done. They have quite a few practical offerings, however and are generally well liked. To me, that video makes me question the company's "practical mindset" quite a bit...

I think maybe a cold steel PR agent found us.

    Bingo.

In volume and marketing yes. In quality, no.

Really? Have you seen their marketing videos? It's Mr. Thompson chopping roasts and punching knives through car hoods.

I'm not looking for a tactical cooking knife, and don't plan on stabbing any cars to death in the near future...

Wow...guy is an idiot. Why would you start shooting the ground and walk your shots up to the target? Absolutely stupid.

Out of context my ass!!! What a dingbat! Any time you draw your weapon and the first shot you fire hits earth, the facts speak for themselves. He can spin it however he wants. But when they release this entire 6 DVD collection, something tells me that part might get edited out. If he does manage to get it edited out, then he ought to thank us for saving his image.

There is NO excuse for training so that your first round is not only wasted, but subject to a ricochet that could end up killing an innocent bystander. TOTAL BS - period - there's NO "defending" it.
