My XDm 40 4.5'' should be in tomorrow, will be ordering a ported 9mm barrel to go with it.

Still up in the air for whats left. considering a 1911, another AR, upgrading my 10/22 or buying one already put together, ammo, a sub compact 9mm, etc.

Oh yeah, a pt111 or 709 slim for my wife.

Small refund. Front tires and a front end alignment. That'll more than finish it. (I been cutting it close the last few years)

I'm not getting a refund. Why would I let the government keep my money for a year on an interest free loan?

Smart man. I wasn't that clever.

Given that, I just may be looking at an M&P 9mm L or Pro. My arms are either getting shorter or my eyes are getting worse so a longer barrel will help delay the inevitable.

Because of the sidejobs I work, I have my dependants at 0 so they take the most. Only because those sidejobs can increase my annual income up to 15k. I still set 25% of the extra job money aside each check as a precaution though.

To each his own ... God Bless America.
I certainly respect and will defend your right to carry on as you like. Hope you feel the same way.

Personally, I've shifted withholding to get close to zero and even decided to pay a time or two.
Much easier and less stress to just pad it a bit and stock up on toys in March.

We don't have it all figured out either. It's looking like we'll get a refund this year, albeit small. My wife started a personal training business and there were more deductions than I though there'd be. Live and learn.

However, I was trying to make a point. The IRS says the avg tax return is just under $3000. That's $250 per month that you could've kept in your pocket! If you're paying 12% on a credit card balance or 6% on a car note, it's absolutely killing you to give that money away to the govt, who borrows it from you for 0%.

Great post, and yes, I'll defend your right to do as you wish.

I haven't seen a refund in a while. I hate doing my taxes because at the end, I'll end up writing a check that I don't think I can afford or think the government needs. I'll probably get over it and invest in some precious metals, brass and lead. I fully expect another run on guns of all sorts and ammo again as we get closer to the election.
