Mostly paying off debt--looking to getting another car this summer.
Personally I set up deductions to allow for a bigger refund. Occasionally I make non-taxed income and I don't want a hit at tax time.
Banks don't pay crap for interest and I don't want the $$ locked up in CDs.
I max out my 403b pre-tax contributions to the % my company matches and I pay for full insurance for the family, so Uncle Sam gets less
    regardless of my W-4 setup.

Smart man. I wasn't that clever.

Given that, I just may be looking at an M&P 9mm L or Pro. My arms are either getting shorter or my eyes are getting worse so a longer barrel will help delay the inevitable.
I would look at something else at this point. There are issues with the latest M&P 9's that you may want to look at before you consider buying one.

I just dropped mine off last week. I claim zero dependants & have extra taken out.
I don't know if I will owe or get money back yet.....

Agreed, savings interest rates are awful. That's not the point, though. The point is that if you have debt, and are bleeding 12%, 14%, whatever every month, AND you're overpaying the govt such that you're getting a big refund, you're shooting yourself in the foot. If you don't have any debt, it's not as big of a deal.

If you're getting a refund you're doing it wrong

Supposedly I'm getting a bonus from work on the next paycheck, tho... I'm thinking it will be a down-payment on a bike.

Already bought a new hunting rifle, a washer and dryer, and a bit of ammunition for previous purchases. Now I am in the market for a new 9mm. I am thinking about getting another Glock.

Just slight over paid. First time in a long time to get any back. Might be able to buy a case of ammo with it. But not much more than that.
