We had a ball today....was having some issues gettin' my newly-built H-Bar AR up to site in, but Sterling was kind enough to share his lane with me, so I was finally able to put enough rounds in to confirm operation and decide I want to drop a better trigger into it. Nice part was puttin' two rounds in the same hole - was only 25 yards, but still, it was nice to do!<G>

Glocksters rra operator was shooting a ragged hole where we were sighting in. That is a nice range. It would be nice to have some shade in25 yrd range.

All day in the sun with my wife, close friends, and a good group of fellow TGT'ers, we shot at stuff and stuff got shot, went to Whataburger and got an A1 thick and hearty, shower, and now a cold beer, yup today was a very good day.

That's why I started this thread because we had a blast at the last one, all it takes is someone to throw the idea out there. I'm all ears for the planning of the next one though next month is the Hicksville shoot and I know a good amount of people are planning on heading there so I doubt I'd be able to do both. Though as I stated in the Hicksville thread if a few people from the San Antonio area are going and want to carpool I'd be in for that.

Agreed, no clue if I'm able to go yet or not but I did request off of work that day just in case.

Yeah, we think the buffer retaining pin was able to pop up and jam the BCG halfway through a cycle. When we removed the buffer tube, we ended up losing the buffer retaining pin and spring, so I'll have to find a replacement somewhere. At least we got the damn thing unjammed, though.

I like the idea of either a monthly or every other month meet. We can move the venue around, bullethole, dietz, bexar, wherever folks want to shoot. Now would be a good time to start as the weather is cooling off a bit.

Oh, and thanks for the dinner recommendation, the Korean food was delicious!
