I have had just about enough of "The Communism State" of Connecticut. My wife and I are in the process of getting rid of our house and looking to move to Texas in the next few months. She has family spread out all over the state (Blanco, Big Spring and Trinity). We are looking at possibly New Braunfels. I currently have my CT Pistol Permit and also have several shotguns/rifles and an AR. I guess I'll get around to getting a Texas CHL, but my CT should cover me as long as it's valid, no? Anyway, nice to be here and can't wait to get relocated.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Just met with the realtor tonight to get rid of our overpriced, undervalued home. If anyone has a rental house with 3+ bedrooms in New Braunfels, let me know! If all goes well, we should be down there by the end of the summer. Next question is....who's got the land for shooting and hunting???
