I don't think I've ever been so scared to shoot a 22. I'm into my last brick of long and only have about 100 rounds of short left. I've stopped shooting my 45 also just so I can keep the inventory up. The only shooting I've done in the last few months has been 9mm and going through some old 38 spc we've had on hand that we never seem to shoot.

My wife and in would go shooting every friday. Ever since the craziness started we have not been able to find .22, and that's what we used the most to shoot evil pieces of paper.

I do my best to stay frosty with my carry weapons, but other then that it's been a while since I've went shooting. The ammo I have especially .22 is far too expensive to replenish right now. When brocks of 22 are selling for $95 locally, I gotta throw the towel in and wait for things to calm down.

The gun market has cooled off a lot..l.but ammo is still real hot. One of my distributor friends said the 22/9mm market is probably going to take a year to go back to normal.

Been doing airsoft in my garage.

Even ammo cans have tripled in price ! ugh. I was buying 9 can deals for $58 from Army Gear not long ago. Now they are $15 a pop! I've got a couple bricks of 22lr for a couple rifles but I do not own a 22 pistol.

I am going to buy a 40 throw down just because it was/is so available in ammo this time around.

I haven't quit but my shooting volume is way down.

What's interesting to me is the change in my usage patterns. My ammo stores show how my habits have changed. I've shot up nearly all my miscellaneous odd boxes of ammo and most of my revolver fodder. I'm about to start using an outdoor range so that I can shoot my aluminum-cased Blazer ammo.

After that's gone, I'm going to start reloading again, decide on and maintain a basic stock of factory ammo, and never let my .22LR stores drop below ~50K rounds ever again.

I still shoot a couple hundred rounds of .223 and 9mm a month more if I make a match or two. I'm really starting to get low on 12g ammo. May have to try Estate shells out

Fortunately I put up about 10k rounds of all types before the run on ammo supplies started. I haven't slowed down on trips to the range....yet, but I have a limit that I won't allow myself to drop below in case TSHTF.

I haven't been shooting since April 2nd, when my right hand got injured. I am hoping to go to the range tomorrow and shoot (to see if my hand can take the recoil or if it needs more time to heal) I'm still feeling some pain. :( But, I need to practice if I'm gonna hit a wild hog during my hunting trip in Texas with Hubby next month.

I haven't been to the range since the operation on my left arm in October last year. But now that, thanks to physical therapy, I have nearly full use of my left arm again, I WILL be hitting the range. I have a new Springfield 1911-A1 that I want to run some more rounds through, as well as continuing to practice with my Beretta 9 mm, my Sig and Walther .40 cals. and Dan Wesson .357 magnum revolver. I need to make sure I'm familiar with both revolver and semi auto so I can continue my plan to get a Nevada CCW (CHL) which notes the weapons on the back....which was recently changed from listing all the weapons to just "revolver" and "semi auto."

i haven't fired a shot for fun or practice in ages.

last time i went to the range was that tgt meetup at dietz a while back.

i think i went out to a spot and shot a few cans for about 15 minutes - at least 4 months back

other than that i had to shoot a kitty cat. a month or two back.

    this is shitty.

    :(

    i miss my 18 dollar .22
