What makes me cringe is when a kid does a few google searches and goes into a forum and talks like he knows what he is talking about.
See the eye doctor before drivingI couldn't even figure out how to open the test. What kind of score do I get for that?
OK, SOMEBODY's got to clean up the coffee!!!seeing the bottom of your shoe with your foot still in it.
Point taken so based on many, MANY personal experiences, watching a skateboard, bike, motorcycle etc. accident that ends in sliding across the pavement or a solid noggin knock.I think a lot of you have posted things that annoy you more that actually making you cringe.
A cringe reaction would be like thinking of going down a razor blade slide into a pool or rubbing alcohol
I was riding my trail bike in the Kaibab national forest. My shirt un-tucked it self and was exposing my Glock. A game warden stopped me and for is safety ask I hand him my firearm. He was being very friendly so I didn't argue. I did exactly as he said and removed the magazine, un-holstered, lock the slide back. I handed him my gun and he walked to his car and tossed it on the hood. Not set it down, but actually toss it from 8in above the hood. He asked a bunch of questions about what I was doing. He gave me back the gun and told me to keep the mag out till he left. We talked about my bike and "went our separate ways".
Something about watching my Glock slide on his hood made me snap. I tensed up and closed my eyes really hard. I guess that's cringing, either way I feel the same when thinking about the razor blade slide.

Why are you carrying a handgun concealed when you are underage??? Highly illegal. Keep those kinds of posts out of here

Pulling a torque wrench over 100lbs and having the socket slip and running my knuckles across the lip edge of the frame
In Arizona, possibly during a lawful activity.
There are times this would be legal and depending on AZ gun laws he may not have been breaking any laws.
Thought arizona only had OC laws. According to him he had it concealed meaning it was illegal since he may only oc, not cc. This kid is shady as f**k.

Tangentially related to your advice, here's a story that makes me cringe. It falls under the general "Seeing someone screw up, knowing what's going to happen, and not being able to help" category of things that make me cringe.Young guys telling me they want to be mechanics and asking me for advice.
No. Really. Don't do it because this job sucks. My standard advice is, "don't."
