Great taste man... Love the Mega billet upper and lower set. I'm a BAD-ASS, Young M16 NM BCG and SD3G man myself - all of my favorite rifles carry them. Is your BAD-ASS an ST? If not, I highly suggest you buy the standalone core and attach your switches to them. All you need is a Seekins enhanced bolt catch and Norgon Ambi-Catch and you'll be rolling like me! :)

Waiting for matched CMT billet upper:

Showing off that sweet, sweet NM BCG (which I staked against their recommendations:

    No, it's not the ST.

BAD-CASS-ST-SA will NOT fit in the standard/normal AR-Style Lower Receivers without the safety relief cut due to the safety pin/block device on the BAD-CASS-ST-SA. Any modification to the safety selector will render the warranty null and void.

Seems any ST model has this warning because they're 45 degree levers.

And I don't care for the look of the Seekins stuff.

Man, it's so easy to fix. Do you have needle files? The "Lawyer Pin" is just small soft piece of stainless steel inserted into the cylinder core. It takes all of about 6 minutes of careful filing to remove it. I've done two and they work great. Once you go 45 degrees, 90 seems like a chore. To each his own on the Seekins... I'd rather a milled steel bolt catch than a cast one any day. Also, BAD will still honor their warranty on modified 45 degree cores, trust me.

Interesting looking mag, 556, what is it?

Hera Arms H3.. German.. nice mag albeit a little pricey.. I keep a few as show mags...

Yeah, I agree with you on the milled steel vs cast. I'd like to find a billet that's been milled or a forged. Trivial thing but I've never cared for cast stuff. Unfortunately for Seekins, I don't care for the texture they've put on the bolt releases and mag releases. I also use MagPul BAD levers.

Been talking with Jim. I'm going with a foliage green Cerakote paint job. Waiting on my Wilson TRIM rail to get in so I can get it coated and finish assembly. There's a chance I'll switch over to the Geissele rail if I don't like the Wilson TRIM.

All that's left is the BCG - Waiting on Young MFG to get the National Match back in stock and then a barrel. Going with either a Wilson 14.7" SS for now or a Rainer Arms UltraMatch 14.5". Not sure which way I want to go on that just yet. Then I have to decide if I want Jim to Cerakote the barrel black or leave it the bead blasted SS finish. And...do I want a battle comp, SureFire or AAC brake.

The foliage green CTR stock and MOE+ grip are waiting with Chuck already.

Youre going to love the SD3G if you haven't shot one before. Not the best for shooting groups but for quick firing theyre awesome. If youre not set on a muzzle device yet check out this one

Ive been very happy with it and the price is nice. Reduces recoil pretty good while still suppressing the flash good as well. I like the seekings bolt release since its larger and has good knurling but the mag release is too smooth for a rifle that gets used hard.
