I picked this up at a gun show several months ago. It had a synthetic stock and I replaced it with the original wood, ordered from Liberty Tree. It is chambered in 7.62x51 NATO.
The barrel is stamped "6-57" (below stock line, believed to be the date of production on the barrel) and marked with Hebrew letters which translate to "From the Czech." Receiver is stamped "1964" (edit to add: I don't know if this is a date or serial number) along with Star of David markings on the side and "7.62" on top.
Action is smooth, trigger is crisp and bore is in decent condition. Has been cleaned (including full disassembly and cleaning of the bolt and springs) and is stored in a gun sock in a humidity controlled closet.
A great little piece of history - especially with the markings. Lots of pics attached.
Asking $300, FTF in Austin. Will consider trades but would prefer cash.
Note: I hold an 03 (C&R) FFL. I will have to log your name, address, DOB and DL# (will substitute CHL# if you have and prefer) in my bound book at the time of sale, so you must produce ID and I will have to copy information from it. I do not require a bill of sale otherwise. If you're not okay with this, don't offer to buy... I don't make the rules.
