I will do you one better. BDC reticles on scopes with huge tactical turrets. Best of both worlds maybe or just redundant?

I get tactical turrets on mil-dot scopes though. Different purposes.

They'd have to become popular first, though, and I doubt that will happen.

Cerakote is a great finish simply for it's durability and protection it offers.

I hope it is a fad and fades very soon due to a new product hitting the market that requires less prep, dries faster, is more durable, cheaper, and can easily be done at home.

Ive been looking at scopes. I dont want tactical turrets or a BDC. I like the idea of it but it would vary with different ammo.

Turrets just allow for easy adjustment in specific amounts and (with a quality scope) easy return to zero. Not caliber or bullet specific in any way.

Not really in the same category as BDC reticles, totally different way of going about it.

Don't think either will be going away any time soon. Maybe when guns are shooting lasers and drop and windage become essentially non factors.
