Which 308 do you go with? I want to start building a stash for a PTR but dont know what it will run well.

I run steel in my PTR, no problems. Even when I had problems, before I had them fix it, it still ate steel, no problem.

Speaking of bulk if any of you come across some good deals on cheap 300 Blackout let me know. That's my next build and I'm starting to grab a box or two when I see it but it's either few and far between or too pricey to grab a few boxes.

Yep, the $13 stuff here - a lot better than the old blue-box steel Monarch I tried 6 years ago.

When you can afford to stock up, that is the time to buy. Hesitate and you will regret it.
I do not recall regretting an ammo purchase. There were a few boxes I didn't need that became great gifts to some folks at work. Flats, cartons and 1K's are comforting.
I've been around a while and mostly, prices go up quickly and down slowly. Good luck timing the market!

If it's a newer PTR, it'll eat anything.

The older ones that had shallow fluting had some issues with the tar sealed surplus, but they still ran all the cheaper Russian stuff.

Try that math again. at the largest bulk, it's 509.99 per 1500, which is about .34/rd. Other than that info, i'm useless...never heard of SADU
