I don't know about restored faith, but I think there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not the train! Too many old time insiders still in office.

I think it is awesome. Obviously the libs hate it, they are bashing left and right today. Saying that this pushes the GOP to the "radical extreme right". Really? I dont see the Tea Party as radical extremists, I see them as a party that wants what we all want....freedom and liberty. Thats radical?

It's radical when you are not capable of rational thought. Just like toddlers, libs throw fits and call names when they don't get their way.

Did anyone listen to those talking heads? My Gawd they're idiots. "What's going to happen to Immigration Reform?", they querulously ask. I'll tell you what's going to happen, something that maybe makes a little sense and considers the needs of Americans first, that is if we get enough TEA Party candidates elected.

There are republican politicians (rand paul) who are saying this had nothing to do w/ cantors stand on immigration. Peter King is concerned about the "Ted Cruzes" who could fill the void.

Honestly I'd have to agree with that article. The tea party cant seem to get its act together in backing the right candidates. Hell look at what they did in ohio. Field two tea psrty candidates against Boehner and also failed to support them monetarily. While I agree with most of their ideologies their ground game to wind elections is severely lacking.

“The grassroots are taking their seat back at the table and returning accountability to Washington. Votes on Capitol Hill will be heard back in the district,” he added. “We are proud to stand with Dave Brat in his election and look forward to working with him to reform Washington, D.C.”

Was it a vote for the Tea Party or was it a vote against the Do Nothing Congress.

And yet I remain the only card carrying TEA Party member on TGT. Sad.

The complete lack of support the Tea Party gave Mr. Brat is why I will never join. Perhaps you should consider tossing your card in the trash, as the Tea Party was more than happy to let RINO Cantor win again.

The brilliance of Brat's campaign was that he walked door to door in his district and asked voters what busted their nuts.

Brat used that information to build his stump speech. He focused on the economy (he's an economist), national security, jobs, and opposition to amnesty.

That resonated with more informed voters in a heavily Republican district.

Cantor lost because he took for granted that he was an incumbent.

Insurgent campaigns all over the United States will be strengthened by Brat's win.
