Well - Here's some info that may or may not be handy. I bought a Lyman universal trimmer with a carbide cutter a while ago. It came with a steel cutter, so I started using it. I think I've trimmed around 2000 rounds of .223 & 6.5 Grendel with it. I was trimming some more .223 today and the case length was inconsistent, the mouths of the cases were mushing in - etc. Put the carbide cutter in it - perfection.
