To each and all; when did you get your CHL then LTC? How many times have you renewed?
I took the class first weekend in Sept.,1996 when it first offered. Didn't get the license in the mail until Feb.1997.
I renewed in Dec. for the 4th. time I believe. Some at the start was only for 2 years to stagger the renewals.

Maybe it was the 5th time.
Ha! I'd nearly forgotten that. Mine was initially scheduled to be a 2 year but I wound up with a 4. 1st licensed spring of '96.

I was just wondering why you quoted my post.
I got an email from this thread but on page 138. I answered that post and got on page1 by mistake for answer. Pin # was talked about on page 1 but not on page 138. Query was about time delay and how to check status of app. I answered as I was first app to do online training and range qualification with live instructor shoot and was giving my time involvement on process. No big deal and don't know how answer got on page 1.
I should never have started this, but for some reason when I first opened post it was page 138 and then when I opened it again it was page 1.
I was just trying to help someone who was wondering how long it took.
I had applied in June and was the first online trainee so had a bit of problem between trainer input to DPS and my submission of papers online. I had made an assumption about range requirement and got letter from DPS that I had to have range portion filled by instructor. Completed the qualifying shoot and rescanned LT 101 and sent in online. The drivers license # was used, no pin, for DPS access to status info. Received permit in September so was about three months, I have a mobility problem so it took me longer to set up range completion. so about 3 months and status info was showing in progress until all paperwork was in. Then it moved pretty fast.
