There's a couple of girls that hang out around 59 and Hillcroft. Not sure how much they charge!

    To All,

What I wish for is a place in San Antonio that has real WHITE BOUDIN, like we used to buy in Marathon, when I worked there & went to grad school at Tulane.

NONE here that's fit for man nor beast, that I've found.
    yours, satx

While I'm not a boudin connoisseur, I've enjoyed having a tray of oysters on the half shell with a boudin chaser at the Drydock on Fred Road in San Antonio.

Because there isn't any "around Houston". In this Amazon world we live in today, everything is just as far away as your doorstep.
Other than Moonpie may actually want to be inside the establishment with sights, smells, & sounds to be a part of the experience yes, it all comes in a box. :(

    Out here by the lake!
Years ago when we kept 9 different types of fresh sausage on display, I made boudin. It was good but never sold well enough to make it again & again! Made South African Boerswurst for a guy who said it was better then back home in RSA. Made a killer Swedish potato sausage that reminded me of my grandfather.

I worked for this one scumbag market manager who threw all the out of date lunchmeat into a batch of Andouille once. I refused to run it into casings.

Holmes Smokehouse use to make a decent boudin before they were bought out.

    Scott, LA...

Even though many of us have moved to the Houston area, the best Cajun food, including boudin, is still back home on the other side of the Sabine River.

Now, I need to go make my rice dressing for Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm headed to Jennings, LA in the morning for work. If we get done in time, I plan to stop at Sonnier's in Lake Charles to pick up frozen boudin on my way back to Texas. Drop me a PM if I can get you something, must be picked up in Pasadena near Betlway 8 and Fairmont.

Hey @Moonpie I brought back about 15lbs of boudin, both regular and smoked. You're welcome to a package (roughly 2.5lbs) of your choice if you can pick it up in Pasadena or meet me downtown at 1100 Louisiana one day when I'm in the office. I dont want anything for it, just paying it forward.
