I haven't bought any 22LR since the shortage began. Haven't seen any in Wal Mart since the shortage began.
The local Wal Mart sporting goods manager said they get a case once a month or two. It's sold out before it gets to the counter.

I stopped buying shortly before the shortage began. I set a limit of $20 a 550 bulk pack. This is some of the last I bought.
I've now set a limit of $25 that I'd pay for a 550 bulk pack.

Forget Walmart, go to Academy if you can. If I wanted to, I can pick up everyday at any Academy. Sometimes it's only few 50 round boxes, but I just throw it on the pile.
