Where have you seen .17 HMR for 4 cents a round?Yep, I'd say it's real now. Here's a screen shot from Gunbot. This is sorted by price per round. A week ago, it would have had the lowest starting around .04/round. And I didn't click through any of these, but there's a good chance that they're sold out, even though I set it for "in stock".

My bad. I don't know why it went to the .17 HMR. I clicked on the 22LR and it still had some at 0.04/rd.Where have you seen .17 HMR for 4 cents a round?
I could have used some extra .17 especially at that price. My bad. I don't know why it went to the .17 HMR. I clicked on the 22LR and it still had some at 0.04/rd.
Post was deleted. It was fake news.

Edit: however, I did go back and click on a few of the lower priced 22LR, and the prices ARE going up.
Yeah, I think it often gets behind. I clicked on a couple and the price shown/at the link looked like (bulk and 50rd examples):Just checked gunbot and it seems their In Stock flag isn't working right now because everything I clicked on was OOS.
...That's actually a good deal compared to this guy. He wants $0.50 a round for .22 CCI.

I hope we never see the day that .22 CCI sells for .50/round. During the last "shortage" I only had one gun that used it, now I have several. Every time I shoot, I try to replace more than I used. I haven't acquired a good supply of 45-70 or 44 mag yet however. That's actually a good deal compared to this guy. He wants $0.50 a round for .22 CCI.

Not necessarily true. The same people that weren't prepared the last time are the same ones not prepared this time. Guns and ammo have been bargain priced lately and it has been a good time to stock up. But, people got complacent and put it off. Now, they're scrambling to get ammo and guns because they didn't prepare.
Did you mean "I just ORDERED a few thousand rounds"? Because if they haven't shipped yet, it may not happen. If your orders get cancelled, then I would say it's real. Seems like that's how it went the last shortage wave (which lasted WAY too long).
Some people never learn and they are the ones who, if they panic buy now, likely will have to overpay for it.Let's face facts: this issue should have already been addressed - .22 is dirt cheap and doesn't take up much room. There has been plenty of time to make it right after lessons learned from our past experiences.

The time to stock up is before people ask if it's time to stock up."Time to stock up" threads are funny to me.
It's always time to stock up until everyone is stocking up and prices go up/ availability goes down. Then it's time to hope you bought enough already.
If 22lr dries up I am selling and retiring.
Heh....rookie...I think I’ve got like 12k rounds of 22LR once this shows up.
So I guess I’m a hoarder now LOL
Been buying it for a while now. With this latest purchase I think I’ve got like 12k rounds of 22LR once this shows up.
Didnt I say that loud enough???pffft. Rookie numbers.
