New here, thanks to a friend Jimbo
Been hunting and fishing for over 70 yrs, started out in Western PA. until the Air Force dragged me to Texas in 1968.
    Almost a Native Texan!
Dragged my kids to gun shows when we had to carry them. Now they’re over 50 - how time flys when you’re having fun.
Every time I bought a gun, she had to get the equivalent in jewelry. After all my years of horse trading, she got the best in the end. She never traded or sold her stuff . Besides guns, we collected knives. Anyone familiar with Jimmy Lile, the Arkansas Knifemaker (he made Rambo First Blood)?
Anyone interested in knives, I’d be glad to post some pics? I have a few one of a kind that that aren’t even listed in the book written about him.
Sorry to get carried away- hope to get to know ya’ll.
One last thing, I quit gun hunting about 30 years ago and am an avid bow hunter.
    Any bow hunters out there?

Thanks, when this ok’ geezer learns how to do it, I’ll post some.
This is one of Lile’s folding hunters - deep cut ivory on one side and scrimshaw on the other side. I have about 15 of his knives.

Another knife geek here. I tend to run on the indestructible, over engineered, unobtainium steel kind of stuff ( Busse, Striker,Trident Forge, Spartan)as I use my knives and use them without mercy.
Love seeing cool custom stuff though. That folder is badass.

    Howdy & welcome to TGT.

That skrimshaw is pretty sweet. I was in a resale shop recently & they had a Case knife display box with 7 knives, from fixed blade to small folders with scrimshaw work on em. It will be in my knife collection as soon a get some more couch change together.

Well hello 3Nickel my friend. Glad to see you join this forum.
Fellow TGT friends, this gentleman has more quality firearms and knives than anyone I know. If he posts some for sale I can assure you that you will be drooling.
