Welcome, my wife kind of had the same idea about buying something when you bought something. Every time I bought "another" horse she bought something too. Boy, did she have an inflated notion of horse prices.
Thanks for the welcome Jimbo and thanks for introducing me to TGT.
My wife and I are discussed retiring and unloading a few things but at 78 I still don't like parting with things or retiring.
She said the Harley (Road King Classic) shd be the 1st to go.
Many of you know my reaction to that
Down the road I'll need to unload some of my guns and knives so that my kids don't put them in a garage sale for $20.00 each.
Thanks again for the opportunity to visit a great site.

They sure are! I'm glad I didn't trade off any of mine - I saw an engraved one that sold for $8500.00 last June and it only had scrimshaw and not Ivory like mine.
Thanks, Corsicana one of my favorite towns - some old customers from years past, you may know some of them.
Regal Int'l, Collin St Bakery, R. E. Hable, Brantley Humbert ( Hickory House BBQ) just to name a few.
Is Buddy Eaton still around?
Hable had a super nice Colt collection. I remember a trade he made for a serial #1 Colt to Texas Ranger museum (Gaines DeGraffenried)
in Waco.
He had a small scaled down train in his shop built by Aggies, I think in the 1800"s
Nice memories from 40+ years ago.
