I have used MWG drums like the one you have pictured and they have worked great for me.It's for this little guy. The curved mags work great but look out of place. The Ruger 15 or one of these 50's may have a better profile. PAX

IIRC Black Dog Machine makes a Ruger drum. The M-16 mags are 1005 reliable when loaded correctly. Not everyone can load one without jamming them up.
Not a problem when plinking on full auto for me. I know they run Piney Mountain tracers fine too. And as an added bonus no problems when suppressed. The Black Dog Machine drum specifies to not use hollow points.
Want to know how I know you have not used a Black Dog Machine drum magazine ?50 round drums are not only junk, they’re impractical. Just get two of the Ruger factory 25 rnd mags and call it a day.
Might not be able to load them properly?Want to know how I know you have not used a Black Dog Machine drum magazine ?
That would be more indicative of hand eye coordination / fine motor skills being junk rather than the equipmentMight not be able to load them properly?
I have 8 Ruger 25s, 2 100 GRGs, 30 10s on 10 Trimag adapters, & 5 loose 10s. It would be for esthetics on a Thompson clone, 1 of 4 10/22 I have including a bull pup. PAX50 round drums are not only junk, they’re impractical. Just get two of the Ruger factory 25 rnd mags and call it a day.
