Gentlemen, I'll be preparing to infiltrate come this fall. Just found out I got orders to be stationed at Dyess! It'll be good to get back to a free state. I'll need help finding the good gun shops and bbq in town. Cannot wait!

I'm ecstatic. Just got my moving date changed to 1 September, should have my feet planted back in the free states in a hair over a month and a half! Can't wait to get to shooting with some of you gentlemen! Any IDPA or Bullseye action around there?

I must keep an eye on this thread. We visit our daughter and "soon to be" son-in-law regularly. Might be nice to meet some Abilene folks. We stopped in for breakfast over the weekend as we were heading to San Angelo.

I got a question for you all. Will I be able to swap my CA issued CCW permit for a Texas CHL? And/Or will they accept my CA training certificates for the Texas CHL/CCW application? I know my CA permit is reciprocated in Texas, but I want to get a Texas one with a quickness when I get there. Thanks for any tips you can provide!
