So we had some time this morning. I was kind of wondering since there has been lots of reports about both Academy and Cabela & Co having stock. Hit the nearest Academy at around 1000 and they had the quite a few of 7.62x39 in both the 20 round boxes of the laquer coated/Brown Bear version and the 40 round Tulammo packs. There was also more then a few Tulammo .223 20 round boxes. That was about it.

Are all the Academy's limiting ammo to 3 boxes of any kind a day?

Went to The Gun Zone in Mesquite today. 3 20 count boxes of 223 for $1.00 a round. Not much ammo but tons of guns, mags, 40 and 50 round drums and lots of other gun stuff.

sales man said only 2 boxes of ammo per person, how many do you want. I said 3 boxes and that's what he sold me.

Yes, that has been the norm.

Anyone seen any 5.7x28 at DFW area stores? I know, I know, I'll put the crack pipe (cigar) down now... LOL
I'm looking for this as well. Just got a Ruger 57 2 weeks ago and only have 400 rounds. Don't want to shoot it until I have at least 1k

Are those guys a good distributor? They seem to have lots of things in stock at some not so scary pricing.

On top of this below, their inventory is not live, unless of course they really have 11,000 boxes of 5.7 in stock.
Even in regular times, I never order from places who inventory isn't live.

OK, this vendor appears to be someone no one here should do business with.

I'd like to ask everyone who has posted a link to them to go back and edit their post to delete the link. If anyone needs help with that, PM me.

I'm sure you'd all prefer if you didn't publish links to disreputable businesses. Let's help our fellow TGTers avoid accidentally clicking on something they'll regret.

Also, any thoughts on the subject are welcome, either here or via PM.

Sorry for posting a dirtbag link, was not my intention. I deleted the link, but maybe keep the company name in case others come across them they will know.
