Interesting that the press releases on the Pentagon's huge investment in Sig Sauer make no mention of the arms trafficking issue. Kind of like Soros funding all of the anti gun movements while he owns millions in Olin stock giving him returns on every box of Winchester ammo sold.

Darn, I was hoping this was a joke thread. I couldn't possibly imagine the AF needing a handgun.

You sir, win the internet. That’s the dumbest comment I’ve read here in the past 6 months. It’s even dumber than the USAF switching to this after thought of a pistol.

Y’all shouldn’t pick on the Air Farce so bad. They have a rough life compared to the other branches of the military. It’s almost impossible to play jet mechanic without messing up your manicure. And have any of you ever tried walking around in those high heels?

One of our favorite grandsons is headed off for AF basic training sometime this month. Maybe he will get one of those nice new guns one day.

    I still like hammer guns.
What's not to like about the M9? It's not totally obsolete like the now-defunct 1911.
I always thought of the M9 as the AK47 of military handguns
You could clean them with motor oil and a rag and they just kept working
And they never fired if they were dropped
