I haven't found any on mine either except that it didn't come with a thermal optic
WHAT!?! Yours didn't? Bastages!
I do like the PA prism scope I put on it though.
Those M10X's look real nice. Never handled one but they look cool.
Great rifle, but other than using AK mags and a Zhukov stock they are nothing like an AK. If you happen to be going to the Reunion I'll bring mine and you can shoot it. It's kind of heavy now that I put my Sightmark Photon on it. To me it is an ideal pig gun.
I really dig the upper reciever and that long monolithic rail on top.
I probably won't be at the reunion but perhaps another time. I appreciate the offer!
This is the AK I bought sometime back on a Fathers day sale. It is a Blem PSA AK47 Liberty GB2 Zhukov Rifle. What is the thought on these? Sounded like it got good reviews at the time.
The problem with some of the imported AK's like the WASR and Yugo's(Zastava) were that they had to be "modified" in the US by some importers that historically did not have the best reputation. Sights were canted, mag wells were shoddy, etc. It seems quality control has gone up but there is still room for improvement. Zastava is now in the US releasing their own firearms because they were tired of others shitting up their products. With all that said, I bought an Yugo O-PAP 7-8 years ago that has been great. Same goes for the VZ008(cz58) that I got from PSA back in the day for $399(w/5mags, sling, pouch, and bayonet) shipped. The Gen3 PSA AK's have a good reputation and @ $539(+-) they are hard to beat economically. I own a PSA AK-P (Krink"ish" clone) that has been flawless.
+1 for RobSki @ AKOU
And what is your review?
I know very little about them, mostly wanted the caliber as the rounds were cheap (when I bought them anyway, 3k rounds for $200). So far it has worked flawlessly and doesn't seem to be suffering any. I watched the Robski video on the one they tested and checked mine in the same places and show no real wear and tear on it after several hundred rounds. Should last me a lifetime. Acceptable accuracy at 100 yards. Shoots pigs very well at my brothers ranch.
I appreciate you sharing your experience.
