Two best AK’s are Made by IO Inc and anything built from the ground up by Century. You should definitely get those. Having those says you definitely know your AKs!

I hope you are kidding...
Please tell me you didn’t for one second take me serious.
I see absolutely nothing bad about my Century Arms AK. Seems to be of decent or better quality. Loads, goes bang, extracts and ejects then does it all over every time. The trigger is smoother than on any other AK I have fired and that has been several. It shoots better than the WASR 10 I sold not long ago. Seems of better quality than my sons Bulgarian AK. It has a milled receiver, has a nice set of Magpul furniture (although I wish I had gotten the walnut furniture just because I prefer wood) and a decent finish. It works well with my milsurp east bloc mags from various countries.Unfortunately, I've actually known people online who believed that...
I have an Arsenal SAM7R. The price on these keeps going up.
Well, if I ever have any problems with mine or my son with his, I will post about it. For now, they are good to go.However, based on my firsthand experiences with it, and all the problems others have had that I've read about, I could not in good faith recommend one to somebody.

Anything, good or bad, about the PSA’s? I read some stuff about their earlier versions having some issues, but supposedly the issues were all fixed in the newer version.
My plan is to wait a few months (replenish the gun fund) and buy a quality AK. But then I see a $600 PSA or Century, and my “have to have it now” comes out!

Not exactly an AK, but I haven't found any lemons on my M10X. (fun gun)When it comes down to AK rifles you really need to inspect it before buying. That goes for any make/model. It appears just about every manufacturer foreign and domestic makes good rifles with lemons sprinkled in.
