That is still a suppressor and illegal. It is the same as putting a plastic bottle on the end of a .22

The kid has some mad skills. He built a mono core silencer out of paper!

Imagine this kid with a lathe and a milling machine. He shows a good eye for design and out the box thinking.

What's the point of making a suppressor that can't even stand the blast of a primer?

A+ for creativity, F for useability and legality.

This kid is the guy to watch out for if you're ever both in prison.

It's a non-functioning firearm. How exactly is it illegal again?

Same reason that detachable suppressors for paintball guns are illegal, they aren't firearms either.
Same way a detachable can for a BB gun is illegal, they aren't guns either.

It's up the the BATF experts to determine what is legal and not, they get the only say in court. Many instances where the defense has not been allowed to have their experts examine an object. All the jury hears is testimony of the govt employed expert. Does not make it fair, but that is the way it happens.

He made the 1911 out of paper. its all paper he has other videos about making and testing it.

I didn't realize that the entire gun was made of paper. That's pretty cool. In another video he talks about how he makes his parts using paprt and JB Weld. Very creative kid. I just hope his creativity doesn't get him tossed in the hoosegow. Although he could probably make a paper key and walk right out.

The government would be absolutely idiotic to lock this kid up for whatever reason, vs. giving him a job. But, we all know how idiotic they are.. lol

Is it just me or do none of his "paper firearm" vids load or play? The others work fine. Wonder why YouTube didn't just remove the videos, instead, if they felt it was inappropriate/illegal content.
