I asked in the TGT only forum but I think that was probably the wrong area...

    So I ask....

Is this a new way to deliver ads or is there something going on (hack). The ad just seems so cheesy and isn't anything I would click on for fear of malware and such. What say you?

Thats funny. You pictured it and there is another right under it.

They look like part of people's sig lines. Just started seeing it last night.

    Curious also.

I see nothing but blank space after the "Ad:" in Southpaw's post.

Maybe my ad-blocker is working better than others.

OK, I turned off my ad-blocker and refreshed and now I can see the repeated graphic.

Time to turn the ad-blocker back on.

    Source of the trouble: hxxp://1puritan.jkwsurveys.hop.clickbank.net

If you're running a blacklist or have other security methods in place, you might want to take note of this particular bad actor.

I see the same thing on other forums but this is a first here.

Curious to see what the owners say. They are usually pretty good about giving a heads up on changes like this.

And no, I haven't clicked on it.

Is this something that TGT is doing or not?
It's almost certainly nothing that TGT is doing deliberately. It is, however, something they could look at blocking. I'll post a note in the bug thread pointing to this thread.

You should really go back to the first place you saw the ad and click on the report icon to report it to the admins.

That icon is the exclamation mark in the triangle that appears on the bottom, toward the left of every post:

I'm aware of the report button, I just didn't think it was reportable, but now that you have chimed in, I think I will. Thanks.

I am wondering if it is only coming up under particular members posts?????

I started seeing it early this morning on my iPad. IIRC, first time was on the thread about NY and preppers. Was able to reproduce Ben's scenario just a few minutes ago with Chrome on my laptop, and turning the ad block off.

EDIT: Sorry, misunderstood you. You might be right about only under some member's post.

It shows up on Firefox and appears in the first post on each page. It looks like it appears right before the first posters SIG line.
