All caused by 1 silly letter (and probably autocorrect).....
It indeed shows to members (or did, don't know now). It was all over the place, so I took the normal action - blocked all ads on the site, blocked the advertising platforms used, might meed to block the tracking stuff too. All that stuff does is slow down the browsing experience and annoy users.Just an ad test, does not show to members

I don't mind ads in general but this one looked deceptive being a part of a member's signature and the URL looked suspicious even if it was legit.

I agree with Vaquero in principle, but CrazedJava makes a great point:
Inline ads of that sort seriously degrade the usefulness of a forum by blurring the lines between legit poster and apparent spammer.
I really hope they don't return, at least in that format.
