The great country of West Texas
Since all this, I have cleaned several of my guns and noticed the chambers had some burnt on goooo in them.
Do you think this could have been something building up for a long time comming?
    What I did was,
I put a soft bristle engine brush on a drill. Put my barrels in the parts washer and lightly honed the goooo till everything was nice and clean. Then I used a hand brush and some hoppes to get the right "smell" back on everything.
I clean all my guns everytime I shoot em. I still had some build up in the chambers.
Im thinking the chambers need a little extra TLC to keep them clean.

I wouldn't use a hone for fear of cutting the chamber oversize!

I just used a bronze brush on a T-handle and Hoppes. A short cleaning rod, chamber brush and electric drill would be easier and faster, though.
