Animals and Meat

The great disconnect and hypocrisy for some. My family HAS eaten rabbits and quail we've raised. Different mood at dinner when you've raised and even named the meat provider.

I don't speak Spanish but fortunately it wasn't necessary. That is funny as hell.

Sounded more like Portuguese as I only half understood it. I agree though, no translation needed.

On Sundays before church, our grandmother would send us out to grab one of her free range chickens. When we caught one, she would come up with a cleaver and chop its head off on a tree stump.

We would then head off to church, and when we got back, Grandmother fed us the tastiest roasted chicken along with giblets, dressing, and gravy.
